Our server was very nice & helpful. The spinach & artichoke dip was a hit, they gave us more pita for it which was so nice. The coconut shrimp went so fast we didn't even get a picture. The cajun chicken pasta was very flavorful but not as spicy as I was anticipating. The pizza was a medium and was way bigger than we thought! (never a bad thing). The tomato soup came in this cute cauldron bowl. The deal for lobster was great, but it was a lot of work getting that bad boy cracked open. We ended up doing the deal for the drink pitchers... next time might just do sangria pitchers instead. I would come here again though.

I finally went here and glad I did. Originally told the wait was 35 minutes. We were actually seated in 8 mins the atmosphere was a typical Jersey scene with both families and those at bar watching Baseball game. I chose to sit outside as it was a great weather. Waiter was friendly and attentive. Lots of choices on menu, but I went with a burger. My daughter tried the pork belly burger and said it was great. The burgers were fresh meat, much bigger than expected , cooked perfectly as ordered and delicious. Neither one of us could finish before we were full. They have great daily specials and I will be back.

I can only judge it for the bar, but overall, as a bar, Beacon 70 is a great place. The service is friendly and professional and it was service with a smile. I did not get anything to eat, but the menu looked good enough and varied enough to have something for most potential diners. The bar had a guy playing guitar and singing and he made it a cool enough vibe. Beacon 70 proved to be a great place to meet up with an old friend and reminisce about some incredible times.

This was a large spot right on the water. There was a large bar right in the center with plenty of televisions. There were even several televisions with individual tables. The menu had something for everybody as it was very large, and the service was appreciated. I had the cobb salad ($14.50) with grilled chicken ($5). It came with mixed greens, avocado, corn, egg, crumbled bleu cheese, tomatoes, red onion, and a lemon honey vinaigrette. I found it interesting that a vinaigrette was present, but it worked with the ingredients. The salad appeared to be extremely fresh and was a good portion size. The chicken was cooked to my liking and was needed for added protein. I also tried the short rib tacos that was filled with burgundy braised short ribs, Pico de Gallo, cabbage slaw, and guacamole. This was stuffed with a lot of the toppings. The short rib was tender, but I do not think I was too much of a fan of the burgundy flavor. I also tried the tuna quinoa bowl that was ahi tuna, avocado and cucumber tossed in yuzu soy, which was over tri color quinoa with sriracha mayo and seaweed salad. This was very light and flavorful. It was probably my favorite item tried. Will I go back? Definitely.
